THE COURAGE TO BE SEEN

How to Open Up Without Losing Yourself

A two-day immersive workshop on vulnerability, authenticity, and lasting intimacy.

Explore what it means to open your heart without abandoning yourself. Building on the foundations of authentic communication and presence, this workshop invites you to move beyond simply creating connection and into the deeper practice of allowing yourself to be genuinely known.

What changes when curiosity replaces expectation?

Together, we'll explore how authentic intimacy grows when we let go of performance and become fully present to ourselves and another person. Drawing on contemporary psychology, nervous system awareness and relational practices, we'll also introduce powerful concepts that can transform intimate relationships, including how agreed boundaries and the removal of expectations can create greater freedom, trust and connection.

Whether you come on your own or with a partner, you'll leave with practical tools to create relationships that are more honest, resilient and deeply connected.

Understanding Protective Patterns

  • Why we hide parts of ourselves

  • The masks and roles we use to feel safe

  • People-pleasing, perfectionism and emotional withdrawal

  • Recognising what our protection costs us

Meeting Shame & Fear

  • How shame shapes the way we relate

  • Fear of rejection and being judged

  • The inner critic and self-protection

  • Developing emotional courage and self-acceptance

Authentic Expression

  • Speaking honestly without losing yourself

  • Vulnerability without oversharing

  • Expressing needs, feelings and desires

  • Staying connected to yourself while being seen

From Performance to Presence

  • Recognising performance in relationships

  • Letting go of the need to impress, please or fix

  • Listening and connecting without an agenda

The Courage to Be Seen

  • Experiencing intimacy through presence rather than performance

  • Choosing when and how to open up

  • Vulnerability with healthy boundaries

  • Allowing others to witness the real you

  • Creating deeper relationships through authenticity and trust
