TANTRA FOUNDATIONS

Entering the Tantrik Path

A two-day immersion into the foundational views, principles and practices of nondual Tantrik Yoga.

A two-day immersion into the foundational views and practices of nondual Śaiva Tantra, drawing from the classical Tantrik traditions of Kashmir and their lineage of transmission.

Explore the essential perspectives that form the basis of the Tantric path, alongside foundational practices designed to cultivate clarity, awareness and a deeper relationship with body, breath, mind and consciousness.

Rather than treating Tantra as a philosophy to be studied intellectually, we approach it as a living tradition in which view and practice support one another. The teachings provide a framework for understanding the practices, while the practices allow that understanding to become experiential.

You will be introduced to key Tantric principles and practices that establish a solid foundation for further exploration of the tradition, while developing the qualities of attention, presence and inner stability required for deeper practice.

This is not a course in modern or neo-Tantra. It is an opportunity to encounter Tantra as a contemplative spiritual tradition, through its teachings, practices and transformative view of consciousness.

No previous experience with Tantra is required.

Facilitator

Gonçalo Luz is a yoga teacher and facilitator whose path is rooted in Indian Tantra and Kundalini Hatha Yoga. His work follows years of dedicated practice, study and experiential exploration, including formal initiation into the Trika Shaiva tradition and a nine-month period of intensive retreat and practice under the guidance of his teacher. His approach brings together traditional teachings, direct practice and lived experience, creating spaces where ancient methods can be explored with depth, clarity and relevance to contemporary life.
